Let God and Let Go to start a new year of possibility and hope.
This Sunday’s Message
As we say goodbye to 2018, let us also say goodbye to useless and unnecessary suffering.
The reason so many fail at New Year’s resolutions is they forget that “of my little self I can do nothing, but with God all things are possible.” In 2019 we can develop habits to let God help us let go of that which no longer serves us.
Music this Sunday provided by Terrel and Michele Lovett and the UPH Band, Joy Katzen-Guthrie and, at the 11:00 AM service, Lori and Steve Krout.
In addition to service that features a powerful and uplifting message about what we can do to make our lives better in the coming year, each Unity of Palm Harbor Sunday service features positive music, a reflective and peaceful meditation, prayer and congregational singing.
Immediately following the 9:30 AM service (at around 10:30 AM in the sanctuary Quiet Room) you may join the small group meditation.
There is also fellowship, beverages and snacks after each of our two Sunday services in the dining are of the Heritage Building, just across from the sanctuary.
Prayer chaplains are available at the front of the sanctuary to pray with you. Learn more about our prayer chaplain program here.
Unity of Palm Harbor has an active Youth Ministry led by Ns. Brigitte Bernhardt and a team of dedicated teachers. Classrooms are organized by age range for lessons and discussions that fit well with the ages of the children and teens who attend.
The Youth Ministry classrooms are located across from the sanctuary in the Heritage Building and take place at 11:00 AM to coincide with the later Sunday service.
Wednesday Mid-Week Meditation Service
Each Wednesday, we have a special mid-week service at 6pm focused on prayer and meditation and led by Reverend Grace and Reverend Linda. This special time is a great way to center yourself in the middle of the busy week.
Afterwards, at 7pm, continue the relaxation with Deanna Gray by joining together for an Amrit Yoga class. You can learn more about Amrit Yoga and get more details here.
Burning Bowl Ceremony Coming Up!
Join us on 12/31 – New Year’s Eve – at 7pm for the annual Burning Bowl Ceremony. Let the things that no longer serve you be released and welcome positivity and growth in 2019. You can read more details about Unity’s special Burning Bowl service here.
We look forward to sharing Sunday morning and more with you at Unity of Palm Harbor.
