It’s Friendship Sunday at Unity of Palm Harbor and we have a great day planned for you!
This Sunday’s Friendship Event
Come out and meet our welcoming congregation and enjoy food, fun, fellowship and games for the kids on the beautiful grounds of Unity of Palm Harbor at 1960 Tampa Rd.
We have services at 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM and the theme this week is all about friendship. We’ll be welcoming the newest Unity of Palm Harbor members into our congregation at both services, and sharing messages of positivity and prayer and some great music about friendship as well.
Just after the 11:00 service, Our Spring is in the Air party begins with a fun outdoor celebration featuring lots of food, games for the kids and a chance to talk and get together.
If you’re part of our community already, please consider signing up in the foyer of the sanctuary to bring a dish if you are able. There will be plenty of food, so newcomers, just come out and enjoy the day with us.
Rev. Bob’s Message this Sunday
Reverend Bob will continue with insight into the remaining four Beatitudes from Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount and how these core teachings of Jesus’ life condensed into this important event, highlighted in Matthew 5:3-10.
What do these last four Beatitudes mean and how can they be applied to our lives today in 2019? Reverend Bob shares more about what these meant as translated from Aramaic, the principal language that Jesus spoke.
We’re sure you will enjoy his enlightening message, which is always infused with inspiration and a bit of Rev. Bob’s humor.
We have a thriving youth ministry at Unity of Palm Harbor. Classes meet at 11:00 AM in the Heritage building classrooms and are broken out by age group with exercises, discussions and games relating to the message.

Prayer and Unity
The Unity movement was and is based in prayer. Silent Unity at Unity Village in Jackson County, Missouri (and the worldwide headquarters for Unity) holds a 24-hours a day prayer vigil. The Daily Word, Unity’s booklet of daily prayers publishes bimonthly and is read by people all over the world and of all faiths. Prayer is an integral part of our services on Sunday as well.
Prayer Chaplains are available after each service on Sundays to pray individually with you. Prayer Chaplains go through training and pray confidentially and privately with you about anything that is on your heart.

Meditation is an important part of each Unity of Palm Harbor Sunday service, but there are also some other opportunities to meditate at UPH that we’d like to let you know about.
On Sundays between the two services, there is meditation group that you can join at 10:30 AM in the quiet room at the back of the sanctuary.
There are also three other opportunities to meditate with others on Wednesdays. Wednesday begins with a prayer Breakfast at 8AM in the Heritage Building. Wednesday at noon, Reverend Bob leads a 20 minute meditation in the sanctuary and Reverend Linda, along with others, leads an evening meditation service that lasts approximately 30 minutes or so at 6pm in the sanctuary. You can then choose to attend a meditative Amrit yoga class with Deanna Gray in the sanctuary at 7pm following the evening service.
We can’t wait to see you this Sunday!
