Transformational Living is the message for this Sunday’s services at Unity of Palm Harbor.
We’re starting to look at ways to view our lives and monitor how things affect us as we progress in our Fall 2019 series. Our lives are constantly changing– it is the one thing that we can certainly depend on. We feel shaky or uncertain if we give in to the fear of the unknown that lies ahead, but can change this with the transformational living approach. When we consciously choose to be transformed by the renewing of our minds we become the directors of that change, not just moving aimlessly in the winds of change. Be transformed this Sunday by embracing these transformational living experiences!
Activities on Campus
If you happened to catch the wonderful concert by Laura Lee Hubbard this past Friday night or have taken in a class, meditation session or attended Amrit Yoga or Tai Chi, you know that Unity of Palm Harbor always has a lot of wonderful activities during the week between our Sunday services! Here is a link to our full calendar of events.
code blue Movie Screening
This coming Sunday, we have a wonderful movie experience to offer at Unity of Palm Harbor. We’re screening the informative documentary film, code blue at 4 pm in the Unity of Palm Harbor sanctuary.
Would you change your habits to live a longer, healthier life? Code Blue provides the prescription to do just that!
Through the lens of filmmaker Marcia Machado, code blue reveals lapses in the current state of medicine and provides a common sense solution. By featuring the practice of lifestyle medicine to prevent, manage and reverse chronic diseases, the documentary offers much to think about. The film presents the current hurdles to the proposed shift: antiquated curricula in medical schools, confusion in the media, inadequate government policies and the underlying influences of the pharmaceutical and food industries.
code blue follows a passionate physician, Dr. Saray Stancic, as she reflects upon her journey from a multiple sclerosis diagnosis to wellness through her own adoption of lifestyle medicine. Dr. Stancic introduces us to expert physicians and scientists who are paving the way to make meaningful and necessary change in our healthcare environment. In turn, they are empowering audiences to stand up and reclaim control of their health.
