“The Luck of the Irish” is this Sunday’s message at Unity of Palm Harbor.

Much of the history of Ireland was not very lucky as we think of good luck, however what emerged was a wonderful spirit that the Irish exhibit still unto this day. This Sunday Rev. Robert Norton (Irish name) Fortner will share Irish wit, wisdom and spirituality.
We can Learn from the Irish
The Irish people struggled with extreme difficulties in their nation throughout history- the potato famine, division, disease and more, but they came through it, stronger than ever. Much of their fortitude came from family ties, working within their communities and a faith that they could se a better future for themselves and for the generations to come.
In our nation, we have faced some of these challenges as well, and even some of them to varying degrees in recent years. We can learn from the Irish fortitude for inspiration and look to our communities and families to help hold us up when we need it. We can help to try and understand each other rather than put down each other. We cannot let our lives be ruled by fear when we are troubled, but instead be practical in our preparations rather than hide ourselves away.
We hope you’ll join us for a great message and wonderful music provided by our fantastic music team this coming Sunday, March 14th!
