Love, The Feeling is this Sunday's message at Unity of Palm Harbor

Love, The Feeling and Its Importance

Love is much more than an emotion, however, it creates a powerful feeling in us. The challenge is that we often mistake the source of the feeling. It comes from within us not from another person even though that person may have drawn the love from within us. This Sunday we will explore the source of this powerful emotion and how to harness it even when we are not in a romantic relationship.

This Sunday, we are also welcoming our new members into UPH followed by a very important membership meeting. All members are asked to stay after the 11:00 AM service for this short but crucial meeting. It only lasts 30 minutes, and after nominating two new board members, voting on them and going over where we’ve come from and the new and exciting plans for 2020 and beyond, we’ll take a quick look at how we are doing with our budget and some church news.

Afterward, Rev. Bob will be providing pizza and salad in the Heritage Building for all attendees.

This Sunday’s Service

Our services are at both 9:30 AM and 11:00 AM. This Sunday, even if you usually attend the 9:30 AM service, you may wish to attend the 11:00 AM service instead and then stay a little afterwards for the meeting and luncheon. We also have our youth ministry classes at 11:00 to coincide with the service and childcare will continue during the annual meeting.

This Sunday’s music is provided by Terrel, Michele & Company, Joy Katzen-Guthrie and In Her Light. In Her Light will also lead some spirited congregational songs to sing with you.

Dr. Michael Greger Talk and Book Signing

Dr. Greger Talk and Book Signing for new book, How Not to Diet width=”1200″ height=”628″ />

Dr. Michael Greger will be speaking at UPH as part of his How Not to Diet book tour on March 3rd at 6 pm.

Dr. Greger is incredibly excited to announce the release of his new book. In it, he shares a tremendous amount of information about how to maximize weight loss while at the same time strengthening and healing your body. There will be a Q & A session and book signing after the talk. All proceeds from the live talk and from book sales are donated to his non-profit nutritionfacts.org.

How not to Diet was based on his biggest research project to date. There are more than a half million papers published in the medical literature on obesity, with 100 new ones every day. It’s no wonder no one has yet pulled together all the best science…until now! He is proud of this book and can’t wait to share this information with the world.

Tickets for the event are $12 and can be purchased <a href=through this link on Eventbrite.
