Sounds like something out of the land of the Oompah Loompas with Charlie and the Chocolate Factory or maybe a stripe in the Cheshire Cat’s tail in Alice in Wonderland or for those non-conformist children of the 60’s, the path down The Yellow Brick Road.
All good guesses…but no! Zentangles is artwork using the elements of lines, shapes, color, texture and space to awaken and embrace our creativity and critical thinking. Alas, art as a form of critical thinking! Maybe you have heard that musicians are often very good in mathematics or maybe it is mathematicians can be very good musicians. These are complimentary brain wave relationships.
Come join Tamara in the patterns and rhythms of Zentangles on July 11th, a Thursday evening from 6p-7:30p. $40. All supplies are provided. Please register in advance and pay in the bookstore or click here. Limit 10.
