It is a Unity tradition to come together on New Year’s Eve to release thoughts, feelings, and things in our life that no longer serve us. We call it “The Burning Bowl” however this year, we are using environmentally- friendly- water-soluble paper and the element of water to release what no longer serves us.
At 6pm, we will come together in service, sound, and meditation, to create a safe sacred space to do our work. Using the Power of Elimination, (Thaddeus in the 12 Powers), we will receive our message of what we are ready to clear out.
It may be the fear of trying something new. It may be that we feel we jump to judgment too quickly. It may be we are ready to release a relationship. It may be a dependency on something that is not healthy for you.
We will write it down on a piece of paper and release it into the water, washing away the old as we prepare for the new.
It takes courage and a willingness (Matthew in the 12 Powers) to step into the NEW.
Then using the Power of Imagination, (Bartholomew in the 12 Powers) we will take some time and write a letter to our Higher Selves stating our intentions of what we do want to create in the New Year.
With joy-filled anticipation, we welcome in 2022! Happy New Year!!!
