Rev. Bob Fortner
Rev. Robert N. “Bob” Fortner has been the minister here since Dec. 1995. He served as the Educational Services Consultant for Southeast Unity Ministries, Inc. for seven years prior, conducting workshops and speaking at Unity Centers and Conventions throughout the United States. His work in Unity began as a Sunday School teacher in 1982. He also served as a Youth Ministry Director for seven years prior to that. Rev. Bob served as the President of Unity Ministries of the SE Region Executive Team and Chair of the UWM Credentialing Team. He is certified through Unity Worldwide Ministries as a Spiritual Education Director; Spiritual Educator for Children and trainer of the Living Curriculum (through both the Unity Worldwide Ministries and the Education Center of St. Louis). He and his wife of thirty-four years, Terry, reside in Ozona, Florida.
Rev. Marilyn Earhart
Rev. Marilyn Earhart graduated from Ernest Holmes College in Denver, Colorado and was ordained in Religious Science in 1994. She founded Sacred Circle Church in Thornton, Colorado, where she was Senior Minister for 7 years. In 2001, she and her husband Rob moved to Tampa, Florida. When she found Unity Church of Palm Harbor, she said it was like coming home. Rev. Marilyn began the Women’s Group in June of 2008 and in November of 2008, she and Rob became Prayer Chaplains. In 2009, Rev. Marilyn accepted the position of Assistant Minister, where she delights in participating in a growing ministry.
Rev. Grace DeBella
Rev. Grace Debella graduated with a BA in English from Eastern Kentucky University. Before finding Unity, Grace worked as a Pastoral Assistant at Light of Christ Church and then became a Certified Grief Counselor. For ten years, she held the position of Executive Assistant/Addictions Counselor as well at a Department of Corrections Youthful Offender Residential Drug Addiction Center. After attending a Woman’s Book Study Group in 2008 at Unity of Palm Harbor, Grace found Unity! Rev Marilyn & Rev Geri led the course which inspired her to become a Licensed Unity Teacher in 2014. After graduating with straight A’s at Unity Urban Ministerial School, Rev Bob accepted Grace as an Intern at UPH. This brought her back full circle back to where she began her Unity journey! After Grace’s Internship at UPH and ordination at Unity Worldwide Ministries, she was hired at UPH as Associate Minister. Rev. Grace states, “God’s plans for us are always greater than we could dream!” She says that it has been an amazing journey, but that God is good and she is living her dream. Rev. Grace and her husband, John, celebrate 45 years of marriage on Dec 21, 2018. They have 6 children together (one son made transition as an infant) and are excited about the arrival of their fourth grand baby this October.
